From the anticipation of pregnancy to the first days with your baby in your arms, the Bump to Baby Experience is designed to preserve both chapters of your story.
The Bump to Baby Experience includes both your maternity and newborn sessions at a preferred rate when reserved together, creating a seamless portrait experience from bump to baby.

The process
STEP 01
inquire
Newborn sessions take place in my Blue Springs studio and are designed to be calm, comfortable, and completely baby-led. Please allow up to 2–3 hours to allow time for feeding, soothing, and settling as needed. I’ll gently guide you throughout the session so you can simply be present and soak in this stage. STEP 02
booking
I recommend reserving your newborn session during your second trimester or earlier to ensure availability around your due date. Collections begin at $1,100, with a non-refundable $450 retainer due at booking to reserve your session on my calendar.
STEP 03
Planning
During the planning stage, we’ll talk through the vision for your session and the feeling you want your portraits to hold. I’ll guide you in selecting simple, neutral pieces for your baby, along with anything you’d like to incorporate for yourself, keeping everything soft, minimal, and focused on connection.
STEP 04
Session day
Your newborn session is designed to feel calm and unhurried in the studio. We’ll move at your baby’s pace with time for feeding, soothing, and settling as needed, while I gently guide you through simple, natural moments. You don’t need to know what to do. I’ll take care of everything so you can just be present. Partner and family images are always welcome if you’d like to include them.
STEP 05
receive your gallery
Within in approximitaly 2 - 3 weeks of your session, your portraits will be carefully edited and delivered in a private online gallery. From there, you can view your images, choose your collection, and download your photographs directly from your gallery.

When should I book my newborn session?
I recommend reserving your due date as early as possible. Once baby arrives, we’ll schedule your session within the ideal window. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when I can, but my calendar tends to fill quickly.

For newborn and milestone sessions, you’re welcome to keep things simple or add professional hair and makeup if you’d like a little extra support.
What should my baby wear for the session?
I provide everything needed for your baby, including wraps, outfits, and carefully selected props in a soft, timeless style. If you have something meaningful you’d like to include, you’re always welcome to bring it.
